My absolute favorite single malt is Lagavulin 12 y.o. cask strength. It's a bit hard to find where I live. My fall back is Lagavulin 16 y.o. Both of these scotches are fairly expensive. After Lagavulin, my preferred single malt is Laphroaig 1/4 cask.
