    I've always been a fan of dystopia novels and existentialism, so I'll add:

    A Clockwork Orange (Anthony Burgess) - The book is significantly different from the Stanley Kubrick movie, though I still thought the movie was real horrowshow, o my brothers.
    Brave New World (Aldous Huxley)
