Perhaps...the full size Kabar could be worn as a "dirk."
I've never worn a dirk, and seldom wear the sgian dubh...don't feel obsessed with knives since one sgian dubh is really an aluminum letter opener and the other has a completely unsharpened blade....but maybe I should look at that. Maybe my kit hose would appreciate not having that extra stretch.
Find my self wondering what the original topic of the thread was and feeling bad about the hijack....so back on topic. The only bayonet kilt pin I'd have interest in would be the kabar for my leatherneck.
