Kilted at a renfair.

I'll likely be going kilted to a RenFair in a couple of weeks. I go kilted everywhere else, why should Renfest get any special treatment? I'll also be wearing the kilt as a piece of modern clothing, along with a micro fiber shirt, a ball cap, and a pair of rubber soled shoes- ALL MODERN CLOTHING. If I were going to wear a puffy shirt with it, that'd be one thing, but it sould be fairly obvious to everyone that I'm not going for some kind of period look.

PS. For those who've been kilted at a Renfair before, do you find that kilt checks are common?

I thought the "kilt checks" were the only reason to GO to a RenFest. Well and the turkey drumsticks. Muahahahaha
