spotted - a kilt in the wild

Driving to work today, there was a young man striding down the sidewalk in front of me, obviously kilted. Boots, hose scrunched, bottom edge of a olive contempory kilt showing under an Inverness type cape or great coat.

Totally MADE my day. Yep, he was probably younger than my son, but as
WizardofBC says - Swish+Swagger=Swoon, and he was certainly a 10 on the swagger scale.

It's so good to see others kilted, isn't it? I know there are other kilties here in Seattle, but I've never seen anyone else kilted.

Did you say something about a spotted kilt? That would be an interesting change from the typical tartan patterns...

How dumb do you think we are? Honestly! Everyone knows is comes from the elusive Spotted Polyviscose Beastie; It has migrated due to a bit of a drought in the Algerian Rainforest....

Cool, glad you saw a kilt wearer.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

I'll hop in with two West Coast sightings. My daughter (age 9) reports seeing a man in a UK at the Target store in Walnut Creek, CA this week, and a family friend in Scotts Valley, CA wrote that she has met a kilt wearer named Dan, who wears various tartan kilts to parties. Anybody we know?

    Best regards,

    Jake
