Vegas Bound
Hey guys...not sure if there any XMarkers out in Sin City, but I was wondering if there were any kilt/Celtic shops I should def stop by on one of my rare days off from the conference I'm attending. I'm looking to pick up some more kilt socks, etc....I'm already heading to the New ROcks shop for a new pair of boots

Highland Express is in North Las Vegas but don't think they have a retail operation. Freindly folks, you could call http://www.highlandxpress.com/
The Las Vegas Celtic Society just had their annual games. There's a list of vendors on the site http://www.lasvegascelticsociety.org/games/vendors.html
but don't know if any are local.
Highly recommend Nine Fine Irish Gentlemen restaurant/pub in N.Y. N.Y. delicious food and great t-shirts and stuff.
I go kilted when visiting Las Vegas and usually meet other kilted guys.

Here's a bit of a pic of the inside of Nine Fine Irish Gentlemen at NY, NY. The backbar is like two stories tall. Its a two story facility done up like an old NYC Irish pub.
If you like shephard's pie or fish and chips be sure to give them a try. Its the kind of a place that once you eat there you wanna go back for every meal. The dining area has some intimate seating set ups if you have your lady along.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

The temperature has been hovering around the 80's and 90's lately. Should be mighty fine kilt weather. WOO-HA!
