Hi, I'm new to this forum, but, I'm in Vegas regularly as well as the Emeryville area. There are plenty of places that are kilt friendly as both areas have pipe bands. Just south of the Bay area is help the San Francisco Caledonian Society games, better known as the Pleasanton games, they are the longest running highland games in North America....just over 150 years, so yes, that area is very kilt friendly. Las Vegas is Las Vegas, enything goes.

Thanks Gents,
Emeryville is indeed adjacent to Oakland, on the San Francisco Bay. Never really hit any pubs there, except the Chevy's Mexican Restaurant, so I'm afraid I'm not much help. I know that the Townhouse is an upscale eatery popular with professionals in the area.
Best regards,
Jake
