J. Higgins' diced hosiery are reasonably priced. They are acrylic though, so they aren't nearly as durable as woolen hose.
If you wear them no more than a handful of times annually, you should get your money's worth. Based on that I'd recommend them.
If you have muscular or large, calves, contact them prior to ordering. You may need the next size up to accommodate.
