Arizona Kilt Night May 3rd (Bowling)

Greetings everyone!! The Arizona Xmarks Members and Members from the Sonoran Scotsmen are getting together this upcoming Saturday May 3rd to go kilted bowling! The bowling alley is located on Gilbert Road and Ray in Chandler I believe.

I believe we'll be meeting there around 7:30ish, but I will repost later this week with a confirmed time. I need to contact the bowling alley this week and reserve some lanes.

After the bowling is over (probably 2 games, 3 at the most) we all plan to head to Churchill's Pub on the northwest corner of Alma School and Warner. (They have Blackthorne Cider on tap, which is hard to find if you like ciders)

All are welcome, and if you are planning on joining us, please respond or email me at ayin@mcfye.com to let me know so that I can better gauge how many lanes to reserve. As of right now I'm going to reserve 3 lanes, which I'm hoping will be good enough.

Pictures will definitely be posted when the event is over. I predict the night to be full of fun and sillyness.

Fortunately, I have some time to spare, Saturday night.

To make it to the opposite side of the Valley, I'll have to strike out fairly early to get there by 1930, so don't pin me down on when I'll get there.

Keep your eyes out for a bearded kilt newbie with unkilted blonde and beautiful kilted 3 month old son in tow at the bowling alley tonite. Jeff, Caroll, and Carter will be joining the outing tonite (or at least trying---can sometimes be tough with a 3 month old).

Thanks for organizing this gig. Looking forward to it, and to meeting some fellow kilties who can help me convince my wife that I don't look silly going out in public wearing what she calls a skirt.

Cool. I look forward to it. At least there isn't smoking in bowling alleys anymore. So that'll make it easier to bring a newborn there. I'll be wearing my purple Scottish Heritage kilt this evening so feel free to flag me down as well if you see me first.
