Two years ago, I entered the kilted community, completely ignorant of what to expect. I called several companies, but received little if any help or information.
Then I called the Frugal Corner. What a difference! The management of TFC was extremely helpful in getting my troop, boys and adults, outfitted. Although their inventory was limited due to post Saint Patrick's Day, Mark and Mark went out of their way to provide the service, price, and product that we needed.
In some cases, specific tartans were unavailable, we took substitutions from inventory. Specific accessories were unavailable, we were upgraded. Some boys could not afford kilts, TFC helped me help the families in making kilts from plaid flannel material found at our local McWal-Mart.
The district is making the highland games weekend a regular event for the foreseeable future. I am certainly going to stick with TFC as the prefered supplier of outfits for my troop.
Communication, communication communication!

Welcome! I'm really glad to hear that you had a better experience than I did. Offering a substitute once they have your money should be the minimum of customer service.

Its good to see that hopefully TFC has overcome their growing pains and are doing well!

Welcome from Southern California.
Frugal Corner has certainly come a long way in a short time. I highly recommend them.
Both Frugal Corner , and Stillwater Kilts are my total favorites. Perfect for my lowly budget, (unless some unknown rich relative dies and puts me in their Will, I shall never own a hand-sewn Tank), Folk always comment on how smart I look, and it's all thanks to Jerry at Stillwater and Mark at Frugal Corner.
Without them I could never have afforded kilting, which I enjoy immensely.
