I was just telling Lisa, the friend who took me around to the sales, that I've never been one for garage sales, but I'll be hitting them more often. I never imagined finding a nice semi-dress sporran at a simple little garage sale.

Yes, I agree with that, too. I wear such fur-front (no metal cantle) sporrans with an argyll jacket and possible long tie. Definitely it should not be worn with a pc or doublet. BTW, congrats on the excellent find and deal you got.
