I just found this and need advice
I was out browsing the garage sales here in Seattle when I happened upon one that had this for $10

It has the L&M logo on the back and is in very good shape, I couldn't pass it up. Is this considered a dress sporran or casual sporran? Is it good for weddings? Kilt night? Everyday wear?
I've never owned a fur sporran before and I don't think the lady who sold it to me realised what she had.

Looks like an excellent find considering the price.

Good score! I think it would be considered "semi-dress".

Congratulations on a wonderful Semi-Dress Sporran. It would be appropriate for smart day-wear and evening wear but is not a Dress Sporran, however I have seen people wear them with formal attire.

What a lucky find! I'd think "Argyl jacket, but not Prince Charlie and up" formal. It's NICE!

Very nice, great for all but the most formal occasion. Heck I'd even wear it formal if I didn't have something with more bells and cantles.

Cool find!
I would think of it as semi-formal to casual, but that's just me.

Yeah, the consensus seems to be semi-dress.. I'll wear it as such. Thank you kind folks for the help
