I prefer to wear hose that pulls out one of the kilt's minor colors, like one of the stripes; but, for Black Watch, I'd wear either dark green or navy blue. Also, I recommend the ghillie brogues.

I think going with the Dark Green hose and a Dark Green tie would be smashing, and it would serve to pull the entire ensemble together. See if you can match your tie to your hose, take the hose with you to find the right shade of Green tie if you don't have one.
