Last time I was there the road that used to go around the Loch had been closed at the end so you had to turn around and drive all the way back, is it still like that?

I have not been that way for a wee while,I will need to soon, but when all said and done, that bit of road is quite the worst in the whole universe. I have seen that road decline into is present delapidated state over many decades.I find it almost as quick to go down the A9 these days.Well it would be if we could steel ourselves to pass the House of Bruar without calling in.

It was fully open last June when I took it, Darren, but I used it only one way - going North. On 2nd June this year I plan to repeat that drive.

    Take care,
    Ham.

    Hello Hamish,
We went down that road to Glasgow airport in Febuary and there were roadworks then. The local word is, that SOMETIMES the road is closed,if it is, go to Stirling take the A84 then A85 for Crianlarich and then rejoin the A82.It might pay to ask the AA before you get there.

    All the best,
    Jock.
