This is what we would get in Germany called a Radler. We've made our own time to time when we didn't want to be quite so full as a beer would make us. It's very nice after a long walk(volksmarch) to replace the body fluids. One of these then a nice heffeweisen, Mmmmm.

That makes sense, aren't some of the heffeweisens normally served with a slice of lemon or orange?

We were in Bavaria and most places didn't add the lemon to the heffeweisen. They would put it in the pilsners. Then again, German drink and cuisine is as regional as here in the states. Good Heffeweisen is a meal in a glass.
