I really dont know what to do.......
so I started working my shift at the fire Dept. and we just completed our tour......and now I have 6 days off and really dont know what to do with myself!!
for the past about 3 months Ive been getting up @ 04:45 and busting my butt! now what?!?! lol
we work a 5/6 schedule so my tour consists of 24 hr. increments (ie: on...off...on...off...on...off...on...off.....on ....6 days off )
its gonna take some time to get used to this ( ok yes I'm gloating a little)

I work a 4 on, 4 off, so I know the feeling, but if you really want something to do......fly up and work in my yard. It's cooler here than in AZ.

Read, listen to some good music, then have a couple of beers.

Get the appropriate books, some plaid, and a sewing machine.... start cranking out kilts...

When I was in the Navy we had odd schedules too. My wife and I carried a little card grid thing that we could figure out what hours I was working and whether we could go somewhere, or to an event depending on when I was working. I was happy when that schedule ended.

I would find a really good classic book, one of those things you were supposed to read but didn't--get a bottle of whisky, and order a new kilt. The book will teach you something you need to know, the whisky will make you feel good, and the kilt will increase the testosterone in you, making all the women you meet love you.
It doesn't get better than that.
