Sunday...nothing really eventful
Monday ....on the way out to have my meeting with the Fire Chief for what happened on Friday I get to see what its like to wreck a motorcycle.( potentialy REALLY bad)....thank god I was wearing my brain bucket ....that boulder was pretty hard! I got a headache ....right shoulder hurts ...right knee poppin like popcorn , but doesnt hurt too bad ... I wont be going to the hospital ...heck I'm not even using any OTC pain meds for it
lets just say ........I'm not looking forward to the drive to Illinois for X-mas on wed.
but through it all ....I havent used anything as an excuse to start chewing again ! ( "always look on the bright side of life " starts playing in the background)
I think I'm gonna get a new tattoo for this ......right across my shoulders
" this too shall pass "

Scott,
I hope things improve for you overall soon. More than anything, I hope your daughter is delivered back to you whole and healthy. You and your family are in my meditations.

Not sure about the motorcycle mechanics course, but at least you werent hurt too bad, and the bike can always be fixed, sorry to hear about the loss of your job and especially the medical stuff with your daughter, as a father of a little girl and a guy who has had a few bike accidents myself I can empithise with your situation.
Like you said this too shall pass.
All the best to you and your family, you will be in my prayers.

You know, it's true that "that which does not kill us makes us stronger."
That may be small consolation right now, but the fact is your daughter seems to be OK. (An EKG abnormality is almost certainly not life threatening, and I thank God they found it now!)
We have all lost jobs and been in dire times, but I do not claim to know how you feel. Actually, I don't know how you felt, only how I felt.
But know that we truly care about you. We are all so sorry, and we wish you the best. Things really will work out. Neither you nor your daughter is dead, and that's cause to rejoice.
I pray for your speedy recovery from all this.

Hopefully that's your bad spell over now and Christmas will be much better and the little one will be OK. When I think back on some of the rotten things which have happened to me yet I've survived I like to think that coming through each crisis leaves one better equipped to cope with the next.
