I have two Stillwater Standards and really think that they are a good value for the money. My SWK Standard Hunting Mcleod has been worn dancing, hiking, in a Live Action Role Playing game, just hither and yon for two years and it has held up very well indeed. I have worn it where I would never dream taking my traditionally made handsewn kilts.

Speaking of which, I am going to move your thread from the "Traditional Kilts" forum to the "General Kilt Talk" forum. Jerry packs a lot of value into his product but at the price point he offers his kilts must be machine stitched and are going to have some construction details that are different from a tradional handsewn kilt.

I'm sure that Jerry V. himself would agree that your review fits better here.
