Welcome too, from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I do live right smack dab in the middle of da UP. It was interesting to see about your father living in Negaunee. I bet he attended the Vista Theater, which I am a board member and big volunteer. My son lives near Lansing, but doesn't wear a kilt. Looking toward the pictures of you and your kilts.
Oh, also, if you haven't noticed, on the right side from the avitars, most of us mention our home location. You can set that in your personal info.
DALE.
You don't have to be Scottish to be comfortable!

Very cool history! I took him back not too long before he passed away. It was a lot of fun. But by the time the Vista opened, he'd already made his way to Hollywood and was an extra in a lot of the old westerns. He missed that one because he was born in 1907. I like the history though and that's a nice site
Oh! And I'll get everything set here, my profile stuff...just need to get it together...which seems to be getting harder every day lately *snort*
Alaska and Hawaii, how cool is that? And Utah. I don't think we ever realize till we gather someplace like here, how well spread throughout the world we all are.
Thank you all.

I have pictures of the Highlands, from family members long since gone. I have one family member left now in Scotland and hope to see her, and the country personally, soon. I hope.
Kiltman, no, sadly, they weren't that interested. The older one would rather play basketball and the younger thought skating was better. I'd done a bit as a child but we didn't have the money to continue. I would sit fascinated, for hours, and watch the dancers at the Highland games when they were held here on Bob-Lo island. Many years ago now.
Thank you both for the great welcomes
