Sending out a big hello from Michigan.
Hello everyone.
I found this link thanks to my Dad. He suggetsed I drop a line to introduce myself. So here it is. I am a proud family man/father, ScotAmerican and second generation Firefighter. I am originally from Southwestern Missouri and currently reside in Southwestern Michigan. Prior to becoming a fulltime firefighter I served our nation in the USCG.
I am currently looking to link up with any like minded people, in or around my area who are proud of their heritage! I am possibly interested in joing a local society or group, so any information in that regard would be greatly appreciated. Also I am in the market for a inexpesive Robertson red kilt. In the meantime please excuse my spelling and gramar like I said I am a fireman and from the ozarks (j/k Dad).
I can't wait to learn all I possibly can from each member of this forum.

WELCOME from the other side of the state...Flint, Michigan!
If you are in the Kalamazoo area, they have a pipe and drum band, a summer Scottish Festival, AND the Sisters of St. Joseph (the Sisters of St. Joseph are not particularly Scottish, but I'm one and we are from Kalamazoo/Nazareth, so I HAD to throw that in!)!
