    There are so many tartans I want the only way I can get through this is by asking "if I could only get one more kilt, what would it be?"

    tartan: MacLaren
    weight: Strome yardage: 8 yds
    customization: pleated to the sett; no belt loops; two buckles (handmade patternweld by a certain smith who frequents these forums)
    why: MacLaren is the unofficial tartan of the Boy Scouts. My father was an executive for the B.S.A. for twenty years and my mother worked as a volunteer in Scouting for almost as long.
