Right around there are also the Hidden Shamrock:

and The Trinity Bar:

There's also another pub on the corner of Halsted and Diversey, but I can't remember the name of it.
The point is, we have many choices.

So, how does 1500 CDT (3pm) on Sunday, July 13th, at the Duke of Perth sound?
And as mentioned in the other Chicago Kilt Night thread for MacTavishofJapan, I like the idea of a Clark Street pub crawl.
I'm looking forward to meeting yous MUGs (pun intended, of course) this weekend.
.
Sunday works for me too. Retro Red, maybe you can edit the title of the thread to Chicago Kilt outing, Sunday, July 13th - Pub crawl. If not maybe the mods can do it.

...somehow the "toolettes" part kinda catches my attention but then I have to remember that I'm really a 56 year old guy who only thinks that he's still twenty-five.

So, about 3pm (Thanks, John, I'm just old and confused) at the Duke of Perth. THIS TIME I won't deny myself the Ghillie's meatloaf which is amazing and served with Stilton mashed potatoes. Start with a nice single malt and finish with the Young's double chocolate ale (it's like drinking your dessert!)

3pm CDT (Chicago Daylight Time), Sunday, July 13th
FYI, my mother-in-law doesn't have an internet connection (or even a computer), so unless there's an internet cafe near her place, this'll be my last post until I see you guys Sunday afternoon. (OK, you can stop with the cheering anytime now...)
