These are easier than you think. Don't unfold the seat. Put your butt on the edge of the seat while you're standing up, and slide back on the seat as you unfold it. Voilą, pleats swept!

That's how I do it. Especially when my hands are full with popcorn and a drink.

That's what I kinda do, let gravity and what not do it's thing.
