    just be careful with steeltoes, they're not that great for hiking or walking around.

    I have worn steel toed boots in the past and found that can get really cold in the winter. Personally, I can't see any reason to have steel toed footwear unless you need protection, but they seem to be trendy among some circles as a fashion accessory.
