I wish I could, but some things have come up this week that I have to attend to, as well as getting ready for the next series of games.

So, I expect to be there between 7:30 and 8:00 tonight. See you there.
Cheers,
Rick

I'm still not sure if I'll make it, it's a long way to go and I have to get into work in the morning, not that I've not done it before, I'll have to see how I feel once the shift is over.

I hear you Glen. I don't plan to stay late, what with my advanced age and all...
Cheers,
Rick

So, the turnout was a bit sparse. Just me.
But the beer was good and the Shrimp with melted cheese was delicious.
The bartender was wearing what he may have thought was a kilt, but was actually a kilted skirt with absolutely crease left in any of the pleats.
Cheers,
Rick

Sorry Rick, I was beat after work yesterday and the prospect of driving that far was not a pleasant one.

No worries mate. I'm just surprised that no one showed. I stayed until about 10:00, then figured I'd pull the plug.
Hope the next one is better.
Cheers,
Rick

Sorry Rick, I was downstairs cleaning out the basement for the better part of the afternoon and evening. It was cool and dry, and the comfortable place in the house to work, but I don't have a clock down there. So when I came upstairs thinking it was 7:00 and time to head out - it was already 9:00 ![Shocked](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)
At that point, looking at maybe getting there by 10:00, I opted to stay in and get a couple more hours of work in after supper.

You're giving me "Cleaning The Basement" envy!
See you next time.
Cheers,
Rick
