Since no one else has mentioned it, I wanted to make a comment to help you,
regarding the picture of your son.
That Kilt is to big for that laddie, the length is to long as it is drapping down to his ankle and a proper fit should hit the kneecap.

Please don't take offense or be insulted, but wait for your son to grown into that kilt.

I know that kilt is to long for him, but he's not really committed. I'll probably make him a more appropriately sized casual after I make my own. Right now it's about his feeling good about "wearing his colors."
