NorCal Newbie
Hello All,
I am new here, (duh) and I've been thinking about making my own casual kilt. I may try the XKilt instructions I found here.
I currently have three SportKilts, including the one I passed along to my eight year old. Here is his picture, I'll have to get him to take one of me in my Black Watch variant. This was at the Monterey Highland Games earlier this month.

Welcome, we have a lot of kilt wearers on the Peninsula. In fact you'll find a bunch of them tonight at the Devil's Canyon Brewery up in Belmont for our monthly Nor Cal Beer Friday gathering. Hope to see you there sometime.
Best regards,
Jake

I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear
