    nice work!!!!! very cool idea on the crest. i do some leather work as well. as for your question how dressy do you want it? a dome button would be on the slightly dressier end. the wood toggle conversely would be more informal. also have you considered slicking the edges? just a thought. . .

    You have made youself a nice day sporran. Nightchild336, I would question how a snap or a toggle is going to make a leather day sporran any more or less formal however. A silver metal mounted fur sporran or full-mask animal sporran are for formal evening wear. Plain black leather is day wear only, a snap or toggle will not change that.
