Check in with Steve Fraser at Oconee Leather works I have a brown and a Black one and think they are great. The Quality is second to none.

That looks great, Robert! Are both belts black leather with gold-colored brass buckles? What is the width of each belt?

They are both black leather. I wear them with my black sporrans and black shoes.
The only case I will wear them with a brown sporran is my brown mink dress sporran.
The kilt belt is 1 3/4" ; the sporran belt is 1" .
The kilt belt buckle is pewter-like steel. The sporran belt buckle is gold colored. I personaly dont mind the bi-colored metals fashion. It's very popular in Europe. For a simple and good reason : Everything golden could be too flashy ; a touch of gold in a silvery environment brings in a touch of light.
It used to be a no no... Now it's fashion.
Now you will find black and brown leather blended in one single sporran... If it's good quality, it works.

    Best,

    Robert

True, I suspect, in most cases. Thanks, Robert!

I'm not sure which ones I like the best. Donnie from wyvernleatherwoks or the braided ones I have from RKILTS. You can't go wrong either way.

I have a braided sporran strap from Robert at R Kilts, it is very good looking and the craftsmanship is top notch.
