"The Shrunken Suit" is a particular style that is favored by certain fashion-forward types with zero body fat, but I have to admit I don't understand it. It does in fact have a connection to Paul Rueben's character and is meant to convey youth (the just-outgrown-your-clothes look), along the lines of, say, the baby-doll dress that a lot of young (and wishful thinking) women wear. I can't imagine how it would be comfortable.

Nevertheless, I don't know what's wrong with showing a little quadriceps. Shorts are getting so long these days, we might as well start calling them capris.

As for the shorts suit, you'll hardly ever see a summer season of menswear without some variation of it on the runways. In past years I've seen it catch on in places where there's been an emphasis on energy conservation but not so much elsewhere. I rather like the look (if it fits - not shrunken).

Keep in mind that while it looks weird to some of us, so do some of us to a lot of people, so try to keep your sniggering to a minimum.

    Regards,
    Rex.

Really, that's the best way to do it if you have to.
