    That story sounds familiar, it is the exact same way I got into kilting. Be careful though, you cannot stop at just 1.

    Oh what a pity that would be. I've already got my second one picked out. Choosing one from all the greats out there proved more difficult than I imagined.

    I just got my first saffron myself (and a replacement Black Watch 6" smaller than my last). I'm wearing the Black Watch now, Saffron is next.

    I finally did it. I didn't order the heavy weight wool one cuz they didn't have my size. So I ordered the standard kilt instead. This was good. It allowed me to order the belt and sporran at the same time instead of having to save up for them. I can't wait.
