Pleasanton Highland Games!

This is the BIG ONE folks!

Saturday August 30th and Sunday August 31st the Caledonia Club of San Fransico will put on one of the largest highland games held in the world!

Top notch athletics, amazing music, dancing, shopping, food, drink, and much more. The only Highland Games that our family attends for both days because there is that much to see and do. The Nor Cal Rabble traditionally meets with our friends at the MacNaughton tent. For more information check out the website here:

I will be at the Games in the Living History area. Do drop by the Guild of St. Gyles Royal Lancers if you have time and bring the littles to recieve a riibon favor from Her Majesty, The Queen.

I will be stopping by the Buchanan tent to say "hi" to Buck (George).

Hopefully you can swing by the MacNaughton Clan Tent and meet up with the rest of the Nor Cal Rabble.

WITH LUCK......will be there on Saturday. Much depends on how Joans Mom CT review goes this Tuesday. EVerything is up in the air, but fingers crossed.

I believe Monkey@Arms and family will be there only on Saturday. Hopefully Alan will be there Saturday as well.

Since Big Mikey and Shelley will only be there one of the days I suggest/ propose that those in the Nor Cal Rabble who only plan attending one day try for Saturday.

I went last year and it certainly is large and fun. I competed solo on pipes and got lost in the crowd. Top-notch pipe bands perform and compete there. Top-notch clothiers vend, too.
