    Unexpected comment

Took the bus to work this morning; a bit unusual for me, but I was (am) dressed up a bit (SWK nightstalker, cream hose, dress shoes), so riding the bike wouldn't be a good idea. As I was waiting for the bus, there was a group of high-school aged boys waiting as well - they had just finished an early morning soccer practice. Lots of looks, of course, but no comments until we boarded the bus. Then, one of the boys said "Are you fresh?". I said "what do you mean?" and he replied "I mean, is it cool under there?" I said "yep, it's a big advantage", prompting the reply "man, I wish I was the same".

Thought it was pretty funny, as I was expecting a "nice skirt" or something along those lines.

It's amazing how many guys are really intrigued by kilts. I always get many more positive comments than negative ones. BTW, an SWK Nightstalker is definitely on my list.

A respectable teenager? That's it! I'm not leaving the house. I know the end is coming now.

Seriously, though. Cool story. Glad to hear a positive comment.

I wish Jerry would do a Nightstalker in wool. I'm not fond of acrylic, but I like the look

Just wait until a teenager tells you your kilt is "tight." If that should happen, don't deny it . . . they mean your kilt is cool .
