I am completely underwhelmed!

I just purchased five yards of 14.5 oz. denim tonight from a reputable chain fabric store. It's in the machine now, shrinking down to, maybe, 4-1/2 yards.

I had to buy it because I bought some cheap denim last week at The Big-Box Discount Store That Must Remain Nameless, and when I washed it, all the phony whelm that the manufacturer added washed out and I was left with a limp rag.
