Colorado October Kilt Night and....
I know, it's not even September yet, the Estes games are less than 2 weeks away and already I'm talking about a kilt night in October. Kevin (Birddog) and I were talking ar our last kilt night about a good time for the next one. With the games going on, September looks a little busy BUT... We decided that Saturday, Oct 11, would be best. It falls right between our birthdays so we can go out and celebrate (besides, our wives agreed that would be a good time for it)
So, let's have the next kilt night on Saturday, Oct 11, at the Celtic Crossing in Castle Rock. Close enough to everyone so that not many of us have to drive over an hour to get there. We realize that those in Boulder and Ft Collins will have a longer drive but since we won't be in that good of shape after int:int:int: we don't want our wives having to drive too far
BTW, we stopped in there on the way back from Estes this past weekend and there have been some changes. The pub section is still there and the same but the resturant is now a sports bar. They have the same food as the pub.

I think I may be able to make that one!

Assuming I don't have to work, I'll really try to make it to that one (I know I've been saying that for about a year now, but I'll try harder this time!) I may need to see if I can swing a ride though.

October is such a great time for birthdays it seems so perhaps my schedule can work out this time.

Make the plan, tell them you can't because of a prior commitment and then let us know. I'm sure someone would be able to pick you up. Even if it was just at the end of the light rail.

Fellow Coloradoans, it turns out that that weekend is also the Great American BeerFest! Seems now our plans will be to drive to Denver for the fest, pop down to Castle Rock for the party, and get a hotel in Castle Rock, because I KNOW I won't be up for driving.
