The Norwegian Centennial (its proper name) tartan was designed by David McGill of International Tartans to celebrate Norway's centenary as an independent nation. The colours in the tartan are taken from the Norwegian and Saltire flags. See www.internationaltartans.com.
Being Norwegian myself, I considered this tartan, but I generally prefer something a little quieter. You might also want to consider the Pride of Norway tartan, and there are also several district tartans, like Hallingdalen, Romsdal and Valdres.
