    Might I suggest a black/white herringbone tweed? That is quite casual looking, and would go with any kilt. You might also look around for something in a silk or wool blend in a tropical weight and have it made up locally. That would address the heat problem where you are. Just a thought, It would also go well with MoL red dress or modern hunting.

    Good idea...

    The only thing is, I really don't like the herringbone/tweed stuff. No real reason why.....They look outstanding on most other people.

    The MoL tartan can go with most anything, me thinks, anyway. Kinda like the Loud MacLoud, it goes with anything, it has too!

    Maybe a bottle green argyll and vest? That would match the green in the MoL too....
