Chicago Celtic Fest - September 13th & 14th

Okay, guys, I've decided to make this the occasion for my grand return to the Windy City after number of years since my last visit. (Let's just say that a certain tricky guy was in the White House then. )

I'd love to join you for the activities, but certainly can't say I know my way around, so advice for locating spots would be appreciated.

My David, you DO get around. Have a good time (as I'm sure you all will) and of course we need............

I agree. We've had 4 inches so far and no end in sight. Ike is supposed to bring us 4-6 inches more in the next day or so. I guess Celtic Fest is toast (very soggy toast).

I'm still heading down there...should get there by two PM, though due to the weather. Hope to see some of you there...

I was down there earlier for a delicious brunch with Brewboy and Galician. We walked over the the fest, but the rain was too much for me. I may be back tomorrow if the weather is better, but with Ike heading towards Chicago and likely to drop 4-6" here, I am beginning to doubt it.
