    As a type A-, I am among the 21% with the A allele.

    Arterial blood is red because the iron molecules in the hemoglobin react with the oxygen they carry.

    Venal blood has a slightly blueish/purplish hue because it contains less oxygen after it has been delivered throughout the body.

    Blood is red whether inside the body or outside, as it reacts with the oxygen upon contact, and inside the body it moves oxygen anyway.

    Most of my life have been not allowed to donate blood....... Something about being 6'1" and weighing 105 Lbs.... Oh well.
