Svc40bt - it was good to meet you, even if we didn't realize who the other was at the time. After the ceremony, my mother made the comment "The guy with the Polish name looked the most comfortable in his kilt!"

The cultural mix continued at the reception, from what I understand. The band were dressed like gypsies, and there was a belly dancer. And as my parents were leaving, Kirk was giving Irish step dancing lessons.

My brother doesn't like his picture taken, so his face has been replaced with my avatar. Hence the "family resemblance" joke.

When you and Glen were comparing deerstalkers and Inverness capes, I pictured a bowler matching the coloring of Glen's outfit much better than a tweed hat.

Indeed, here is a pic of the Gypsy band, whose singer was also a belly dancer. The Groom did not think she was planning to dance. He was mistaken.

A very cool wedding! I recognize this gypsy group as most of what used to be called E Museki. I don't know if they still go by that name b/c I heard the group split up. They were at the Texas Ren Fest 12 months ago.

Jack Daw, you are correct on both counts. I do not remember what the new band was called.

I liked their music so much that I bought a couple of their CDs. Did they play "Cashmire" (a Led Zep tune)? It looks like they only replaced their violinist.
