The two gents to the right side of the photo is what I would consider to be acceptable business attire. Hard to go wrong with a charcoal gray jacket and waistcoat also. I know you aren't currently wearing a tie, but I would consider doing so in this case. IMHO the tie really brings the whole look to a very smart finish.
