I hope they win this year.

I do remember seeing something from the Seattle Chamber of Commerce or something like that, but I could be mistaken. Regardless I wish them well.

    This was posted to the Yahoo UK board today;

Today, at a BBS luncheon, Megan Haas Accepted the Seattle Better
Business Bureau Chapter's Award on Behalf of Utilikilts.

For the second year in a row, Utilikilts was nominated for an award,
and this year, Utilikilts won the award in the under 50 employee
class for most innovative business practices.

There will be pictures, and a press release up on the Utilikilts
website within a day or so.

    All I know is this:

~They're a leader of the pack in the industry
~They're fun people to deal with (usually)
~They work like dogs throughout the entire country
    ~They donate to worthy causes
    ~They support many worthy organizations
~They're MUCH more than just a kilt company when it comes to civic issues, community involvement, and promotion of kilts.
~The ownership believes in EMPLOYEES FIRST
~They deserve any accolades that could be thrown their way.

Quite frankly, I'm impressed that an organization could be so civic and employee conscious in these days of hard economic times. It speaks well for Steven and the whole group. Notice that Steven has someone else always get the credit for the company too!

Big egos are a big turn-off to most people.

I'll call Steven today and congratulate them on a WELL DESERVED award. Good guy... good company... good products... not enough award.
