Hi Erik,

I'm not sure as I'm not familiar with A.J.Skrimshire. Of course its a copy of the painting done by Antonio David, but perhaps someone else here can shed light upon A.J.Skrimshire or follow Jock's advice.

See any dates upon it?

I couldn't find anything on A.J.Skrimshire, but the style of engraving is called Mezzotint, and basically is a lost art. I found examples ranging from late 18th century to very early 20th century. This seem's to have been a popular art form during the Victorian era.

UPDATE:
I believe the engravers / artist full name is Alfred J. Skrimshire. I couldn't locate much info on him (other than he's British), but did find two works done by him during early 20th century.

I'll keep digging ;-)
