Yep, the white shirt bit -- agreed 100%... I thought the same thing as I was uploading the pix. The belt? I can see why you'd say that -- but I guess I've seen lots photos of people wearing formal wear both with and without belt -- so I never figured that it was not customary. How about a cummerbund? I've seen that too.
