I think it was about time this one came back around.
I wasn't smoking my pipe for a while because, to be honest, I ran out of tobacco and had no money for more.
Imagine my surprise on finding that, now I am living in the U.S.A, Tobacco is A LOT cheaper.
I stocked up and I now have about a year's supply of both Black Cavendish and Cherry Cavendish; Two of my favourite tobaccos.
My favourite pipe was broken in the move over here (Darn Heathrow baggage handlers!) but my other two came through just fine.
I have a straight-stemmed Peterson with a small bowl and a nice curved-stemmed Barling with a good, deep bowl.
Both of them are a welcome addition to my evenings sitting on the decking and musing about how nice and mild Idaho winters are compared to Scotland.
