One of the great things about this forum is the encouragement for those starting out in the world of kilt wearing. I know I received help from others on the board, so I would like to pass some along.
One of the frustrating things about getting started is all the accessories you have to have to put together to make up a traditional kilt outfit. The expense can be a real obstacle. So, I have three pairs of very lightly used kilt hose (as in wore once or not at all). They're all in excellent condition (other than neglect from an extended time spent in my dresser). They're some blended fabric (not wool) and fit a size 10 1/2 shoe wearer. Not too heavy, but not the thin ones you get at some of the discount merchants.
Free to good home:
Please note that these colors don't go with every tartan, but they might be just the thing for you. If you are just getting started then one or more pair is yours, just pm me and pay the postage. First come first served. YMMV.
