Personally, I'm not a fan of getting all decked out in holiday colors (regardless of style of clothing). It's generally too much, to my eye. A little holiday color is good, like perhaps the scott kilt, but otherwise just dressed for the occasion as you would any other time of the year. Or perhaps another kilt that's less red/green, with red and green added through the shirt or hose.

That's just personal taste though. I think what you're wearing in the photo looks great
