Det var ikke Dansk - det var Norsk men naturlivis du kan forstår 
Jeg laerte det mange år siden siste for en besøk å se en venn som borte i Oslo.
(that wasn't Danish but Norwegian which naturally you can understand.
I learnt it many years ago for a visit to see a friend who lived in Oslo)

Great. Danish and Norwegian are very similar languages, even if they sound pretty much different. My daughter in law is a Norwegian, by the way.
