It seems the Darleks have mellowed with age, 20 years ago he would have tried to EXTERMINATE the poor wee airship. Great bunch of photos our wee ship is having a wonderful tour.

Derek,
I can't wait to show this picture to my 8 year old son who loves Doctor Who!

David (Freelander Sporrano) is the bombardier of the Saltire, perhaps the Dalek was just showing professional courtesy?

Great pics, and as I know Cardiff reasonably well (I lived there for 3 years) it was good to see some of the sights again. I hope the little airship will be making a trip to Ferintosh for a Burns night in 2009!

It is possible!
Our Burns Night Supper is the evening of Saturday the 17th of January. I had promised to send it out immediately the following Monday. I can check with my postal service if we can get it to Ferintosh by the next weekend (assuming she makes it home for our Burns night!)
Cheers

Jamie,
I didn't realise we needed to make requests for the Saltire's flight plan!

Another guid gangin threid, Derek, nice to see the sights of Cardiff again.
We'll have to think up some interesting ploys for the Saltire when she visits Scotland, but yours and Elaine's will be a difficult act to follow.

I can imagine someone walking around town...
ho hum, of course there's a Dalek. See them every day.
Oh, and a man in a kilt carrying a small Scottish zeppelin.
I wonder if it's tea time, yet...
