The Little Airship goes gigging ....

Only a handful of pics I'm afraid ...
Last night we played our annual concert for the church at the back of us. We do it every year to help them raise much need money for their restoration fund.
So our little airship came along for its first, albeit small, adventure.
It made more friends b4 we left the house

and more in the church as people were arriving

Setting up ... we had a screen at the back playing animated cartoons as we played a selection of Irish Beer drinking songs ... the church was full and everyone joined in

    Then we did the gig

Then it was time to put the main lights on and pack up .. but first

Tomorrow will be the little airships first major adventure ... a full day out.
I will post pics up monday.

Where I come from, gigging is when you go out into the rivers and collect frogs with a gig (a really long, barbed fork).

And after it has finished with the tour of the juice, jam, and jelly factory I hope she sees some of the beautiful Welsh countryside!

(Sorry Dirk, it was too funny to pass up!)

    Cheers

    Jamie,

Actually, Welch is correct in terms of spelling; the most famous example is the Royal Welch Fusilier Regiment.
